assemblages and sibylle baer
i made this assemblage today out of natural materials i sourced on my afternoon walk. it was a fun practice; first, observing my surroundings and looking for small beautiful things on the ground, and second, arranging them in a way that i found pleasing. i would like to continue this practice in various locations and perhaps create a post of assemblages i make from around my world.
i listened to this while i arranged my found objects. baier's voice is haunting and the lyrics painfully banal. it felt appropriate for some reason.
he gently took my arm
he listened to my tears till dawn
